Soil Reinforcement
The F.L.I. Environmental GeoCell comprises a web of three-dimensional
point welded polyethylene cells which serve to increase the frictional
interlock of the fill, producing a semi-rigid slab, which distributes
load laterally.
The inner core strength means that the depth of fill can be reduced by
as much as 50%, compared to traditional load support methods.
The heavy-duty polyethylene sections are lightweight and collapse for
easy movement, making them ideal for less accessible applications,
from single-layer road and rail bases to multi-layer retaining walls
and protective barriers.
Erosion Control
F.L.I. Environmental GeoCell provides a firm footing for young roots
to become established on steep slopes and banks, increasing vegetation
in areas that would normally remain barren.
